The Chirurgeon's Guild of Calafia

The Chirurgeon's guild exists to provide first aid at SCA events, and to research period medical practices. The goal is to make these Current Middle Ages as safe for everyone as possible.

To be a chirurgeon, one must meet the following criteria:

• Be a paid member of the Society for Creative Anachronism

• Hold a current CPR certificate (Red Cross or Equivalent)

• Hold a current First Aid certificate (Red Cross or Equivalent)

These are the basics. If one holds advanced certificates and degrees, (EMT, RN, MD, etc.), they are just as welcome.
