Twelfth Night

The Barony of Calafia is honored to host 12th Night on January 10, 2009. Please come in your finery and join us for a Carnival in Venice. The festivities will include merchants, games, music, dancing, and a wonderful feast.

In addition to the day's activities we will be having a mask making station for adults and children as well as a mask contest and a table decorating contest. Prizes will be awarded for the best general mask & best Venetian mask for both Adults & Children & the best decorated tabled. We will also be hosting a masque in the evening along with the dancing.

Breakfast & lunch will be available for a small donation with a feast later in the Evening prepared by THL Liam MacIan of the Bloody Foreland.

Take Freeway 5 South and exit Encinitas Blvd. and go East (Left)
Turn Right onto Calle Magdalena

Coming from the South:
Take Freeway 5 North and exit Encinitas Blvd. and go East (Rightt)
Turn Right onto Calle Magdalena

Site Fee:
$8 for Ages 13 and over
$5 for Children ages 6-12
Children under 6 are guests of the Barony
Non-members please add $3

The Feast is $15 per person.

Merchants are quite welcome and there will be no additional fees to merchant, though space is limited. Please register with Master Thorvald Olafson and Baroness Eloise of Lancaster.

Seating for the feast is limited and reservations are strongly encouraged. Reservations will be open starting November 1, 2008 and will close on December 31, 2008. Please send email to twelthnightfeast@calafia.org for reservations with the number of people and the names of those you are making reservations for. Confirmations for reservations will be sent via email.
