Twelfth Night
January 7, 2006
And, constant stars, in them I read such art
Whereon the stars in secret influence comment;
Let those who are in favour with their stars
When sparkling stars twire not thou gild'st the even.
- William Shakespeare
It is the Barony of Calafia's esteemed honor to invite you to the Twelfth Night Court of Caid, to be held on the 7th day of January, 2006, A.S. XXXX. This is a fortuitous and auspicious year for the Society, being its 40th anniversary, and we feel certain the stars are shining down on the Kingdom of Caid!
This year's Twelfth Night event will feature an astrological theme to the festivities. The concept and practices of astrology were shared by almost all cultures of the Known World - from the colleges in the Middle East to the Court Astronomers of Europe. Celebrate your sign by incorporating it into your garb, or table decorations at the Feast!
