Come Be Guests of the Barony At the Leif Erikson Tournament.

Announcing Calafia's Viking event of the year, The Leif Erikson Tourney. This year's theme is the Voyage to Byzantium. The Vikings arrive at the bountiful Barony's shores October 21, 2006.

There will be a contest for the best Viking AND the best Byzantine Garb.

Site: Stonehenge on the UCSD campus, 9500 Gilman Drive, La Jolla, CA 92093.
Site Fee:No site fee. Nonmembers must sign the waivers.

Schedule for the day:
8 am Site opens for setup
10 am (or at Their Excellencies Leisure) Opening Court
10 minutes after court closes lists close
5pmClosing court

Directions to site: The event will be at the traditional Stonehenge on the UCSD campus, 9500 Gilman Drive, La Jolla, CA 92093.
Take your favorite route to I-5 and head for La Jolla. Exit La Jolla Village Drive and go west. Turn right at the third signal, Expedition Way, then turn left at the second stop sign and right into the parking lot. You can't miss the site, it's right next to the parking lot, look for the grass, trees, and standing stones.

Parking: Parking in any of the green or yellow spaces is free. Parking in the red spaces or the meters will get you a ticket.

Please note: No Crossbows or blades are allowed on campus.
